The Healing Committee of the Vermont Conference of the United Church of Christ has invited The Rev. Nigel Mumford to lead the annual healing retreat on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Grace Congregational UCC in Rutland and he has accepted the invitation.

Fr. Mumford is well known in the Rutland area where he has shared leadership of the annual Fishnet Leaders Conference with Francis and Judith MacNutt for several years.

Following the healing of his sister from a near fatal Distonia, he dedicated his life to the ministry of healing. He was ordained as an Episcopal Priest on Dec. 17, 2005 with the Episcopal diocese of Albany. He is a chaplain with the International Order of St. Luke. He is the author of The Forgotten Touch and several other publications. He is presently the director of the healing ministry at Christ the King, Spiritual Life Center, Greenwich, New York.
