2010 New England Regional Youth Event (NERYE)

Inside Out—Outside In: Finding Our Way in God’s World

Where:  Boston University, Boston, MA
When:  Thursday, June 24 - Sunday, June 27, 2010
Who:  Youth (and their adult leaders) who are currently in Grades 8-12 (2009-2010)

Join hundreds of UCC youth and adult leaders from all over New England. Feed your soul and grow your spirit with NERYE this summer.

The cost for the event is $350 per person which includes registration, lodging in BU dorms (linens and towels included) as well as all meals from Thursday dinner through Sunday breakfast.

Complete the hard copy of the registration form which can be found by clicking here.  (Note:  this is a pdf document.) Please make copies as each individual must have their own registration form.

Group leaders please go here to provide us information about yourself and to pay the deposit: http://macucc.org/youth/nerye-reg.cfm. 

Once this step is completed, Group leaders will automatically be given a new link to follow to complete the registration process. Leaders can do this for their whole group or you can give the link to the individual registrants to complete.

Transportation:

As a conference we are renting a BUS to NERYE. This is a great way for our youth to meet each other before we even get to the event. It will cost about $50 per person. This will be cheaper, safer, and more environmentally responsible than taking a bunch of cars and trying to find and pay for parking in Boston. Our bus is through Lamoille Valley Transit and will make stops in Burlington, Barre, Randolph, and White River Junction, and possibly elsewhere along I-89 if needed. This bus will take us to Boston University on Thursday, June 24th and return us on Sunday, June 27th. The bus is limited to 50 seats so don't delay.

WORSHIP in BU Marsh Chapel featuring Da Vita McCallister, Val Tutson, Obadiah Ballinger, Claudia De la Cruz, Courtney Clayton Jenkins, Martina Radwan, Karen Georgia Thompson, Jim Antal, and music by John Selders and his house band!

WORKSHOPS to challenge and inspire you. Choose from titles like drumming, rock climbing, UCC 101, or Faith and Fantastic Fiction. Look here for a complete list of titles and descriptions.

SERVICE PROJECTS to let you put your faith into action in the city. All participants will have an opportunity to participate in a hands-on mission experience within the greater Boston area. Small groups will be disbursed throughout the city to serve at food pantries, shelters, feeding programs, community centers, churches and other agencies that provide services to the marginalized. City Mission Society of Boston, a UCC affiliated social justice agency is planning this part of our event through their Boston Urban Outreach Program.

FUN TIMES with friends. Play ball or swim at the beautiful BU Fit/Rec Center, walk the labyrinth, or listen to music at our own Coffeehouse. Plus, see the sights on our Trolley Tour of Boston!
