$20,000 Fund Drive

The Board of Trustees recently had an article in our local Islander newspaper.  Outlined were the various groups that use our building on an ongoing basis:  CIDER, Champlain Islands Parent Child Center, Rotary, exercise groups, home-schoolers, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, the La Leche League, AA and Al-Anon, our own choir and bell choir. On an occasional basis, concerts entertain, Blood Drives are held, the VNA provides training, the town of South Hero holds informational meetings, potluck suppers are shared, weddings and funerals are held.  In the summer we have our famous Chicken Pot Pie Suppers and Turkey Suppers.  And there are other community groups who use the facilities at different times of the year.

The Trustees of the church have noted that the church needs to be painted along with small repairs to ensure that the building remains in sound condition to continue to be available for its many users.

To this end the fund raising drive has begun!

With the goal of raising $20,000, the Trustees hope to raise the needed funds in time to do the work during the warm weather this year.

They are encouraging anyone who has enjoyed activities held here over the years to donate or perhaps just to support the continuing availability of our meeting space and community kitchen.

Tax deductible donations should be sent to:
