Covenant Hills Christian Camp (CHCC)
CHCC is owned by the Troy Conference of the United Methodist Church and is jointly programmed by the United Methodist and the United Church of Christ in Vermont.
Our Purpose is to have you to experience the outdoor world of fun, joy and love. Here is the place to make new friends, grow, share and live the Christian faith. As an extension of the ministry of the local church, camping provides outdoor education so that persons may:
- Find or renew faith in Jesus
- Grow in relationship to God and others
- Develop potential and build esteem
- Share in Christian love
- Experience God’s grace and love
- Discover God’s natural world
- Integrate scripture with personal experience
- Christian life-style is taught and modeled. No attempt is made to convert persons to any particular denomination.
Additional Information is available here
Directions - Located 20 miles east of Montpelier on U.S. Route 2, near the village of S. Cabot, VT, about two miles east of Marshfield Dam (Molly’s Falls Pond on some maps). Official Vermont State Highway signs mark the turn onto Houghton Road. Follow that road .8 of a mile, past a sharp left curve, and the camp entrance will be on the right. Signs are posted. |
