Sunday 10:00 AM (Potluck lunch
2nd Sunday of every month - social hour after service
every Sunday)
Overview:
Our church building was built in
1847 and has not been changed much architecturally except
for the addition of a ramp for handicap accessibility.
The downstairs was completely renovated last year to replace
rotted sills & etc. The renovations include a beautiful
new kitchen and a wheelchair accessible bathroom. We are
small but very friendly.
On August 10, 1997, we celebrated our 150th anniversary of our
meeting house. Its classic New England church architecture is
capped by a graceful steeple to be glimpsed among the trees
for miles around. Inside it is simple, but well appointed. Straight
pews accommodate almost 200 people, with room for more in the
rear balcony. A center pulpit defines the centrality of the
Bible to its cervices. From the belfry, the great bell has summoned
worshipers since it was hung in 1866.
Directions:
The church is on the edge of Pond Village where
the floating bridge is located. It can be reached by going up route
65 from Route 14, by taking the Ridge Road from Randolph Center (Exit
4) or by following Pond Village / Brookfield signs from Exit 5.
